Tips for a Productive Morning
Aug 22, 2018Trying to get out of bed in the morning without smashing your alarm’s snooze button into pieces?
Me too!
Check out these productive morning tips to enhance your overall morning experience.
Let’s make those mornings good.
The Night Before (10:00 PM)
Put together your outfit, schedule, and lunch before you go to sleep at night. Not only will this give you more time in the morning, but it will also allow you to focus more on what is going to happen tomorrow. Having more time in the day will allow you to put more time into your appearance as well as mental and physical health.
Wake Up Sunshine (5:00 AM)
Starting your day at the crack of dawn is a great way to ensure that you get everything that you need done in the morning. Waking up this early can also make you feel more energized and inspired granted you get a proper sleep the night before.
Try waking up earlier and earlier each day. Your body will definitely thank you for it.
Write it Down (5:15 AM)
Start keeping a journal so that you can reflect upon your worries from yesterday and your dreams from last night. Having all of those problems in your journal will allow you to clear your brain for the new day and start fresh for all of the new obstacles you will have to take on today!
Its also great to look back on all of these memories and feelings later and reevaluate how situations were handled and what you can do to improve those types of interactions.
Keep these short and sweet.
Eat a Clean Breakfast (5:30 AM)
Most people have their coffee with a lot of cream and sugar which will weigh you down and probably discourage you from having a work out early in the day. Try having a lemon water in the morning instead along with a hefty serving of fruit (more than you would usually eat).
My ideal quick breakfast meal includes:
1 16oz Jar of Lemon Water
1/2 Medium sized watermelon
1 Large Banana
Exercise After Breakfast (6:00 AM)
As we all know, exercise makes your body healthy and happy. It can rid of both physical and mental pains. My favorite morning exercises include pilates, yoga, and light cardio.
If you don’t have time to exercise for an hour a day, try starting with a 15-30 minute jog/walk in the morning.

Meditate After Your Workout (6:30 AM)
Meditation has always been proven as an inspiring and beneficial way to start a day. Focusing and concentrating on your aura and environment can really help to detach yourself from reality. Sometimes it is important to refresh your mind and clear the way for new ideas and inspiration in order to be more productive in a work environment. Meditation has also improved illnesses, anxiety attacks, cancers, and many more problems in various cases. This is indeed the ultimate cool down following an intense workout.
To meditate, make sure that you are in a family quiet room; preferably alone. Sit down, close your eyes, and concentrate on one thing. Try repeating the name of the thing that you’re concentrating on. For example, saying “in/out” while you’re breathing slowly and concentrating only on that. The hope is that you will eventually zone out and think about absolutely nothing for about 10 minutes. It will prove itself very challenging at first but eventually it will come very naturally and prove easier to do.
Use Proper Hygiene (7:00 AM)
I’m not saying you stink but it’s important to take proper care of yourself as well as your appearance. Looking your best will help you feel more confident for work and less distracted throughout the day. Being comfortable in your own skin is step one to getting that killer promotion. So whip your hair back and forth and get ready for the day!
If you’re looking to get a raise, enhance your business, or just promote a healthy lifestyle, all of these tips will help you achieve your goals.
Work on bettering yourself and you’ll definitely #makelifebetter!
